Southloom Original Balaramapuram Handloom Saree with Handwoven Parrot Design

This beautiful Southloom saree is a one of a kind masterpiece. Only one saree is woven, which makes this piece truly unique. 

The saree uses Unakkupaavu material, which means that the threads used to weave the sari was naturally started using rice starch and was sun-dried. This traditional method of processing the thread gives the material its premium quality. 

The parrot design on the Pallu voice handwoven with each parrot taking about 5 to 7 days to complete. The design is 100% handwoven no jacquard technology was used to weave the same.
